The agreement, in plain language.

1. Who the agreement is with

These terms are between Hashtag AI Labs (“we”), the maker of Tenellus, and the organisation that opens a Tenellus account (“you”). The person who creates the organisation confirms they may accept these terms on its behalf.

2. The service

Tenellus is an online tool for one-on-one reviews, actions and KPIs. We may improve or change features over time. We will not remove a core feature you pay for without telling you in advance.

3. Accounts and sign-in

People sign in with a one-time email code, Google, Microsoft or a passkey. You are responsible for who you invite, for keeping their roles up to date and for removing people who leave. Tell us straight away if you suspect someone has accessed your account without permission.

4. Plans, trials and payment

The Free plan covers up to 3 active people.
Paid plans are charged per active person, monthly or yearly in advance, through PayFast. List prices are in US dollars. PayFast charges in South African rand, converted at the exchange rate on the day you subscribe, and that rate stays fixed for your subscription. Prices exclude any taxes that apply.
Adding people increases the number of seats and the charge from that point. Archived people do not count.
A trial ends after 14 days. If you do not subscribe, the organisation moves to the Free plan.
You can cancel at any time. The plan stays active until the end of the period already paid, and payments are not refunded unless the law requires it.
We will give at least 30 days’ notice of any price change.

5. Your data

Everything your organisation puts into Tenellus belongs to you. You decide what is recorded about your people and you are responsible for having a lawful basis to record it and for telling your people how it is used. We process it only to run the service, as described in our privacy notice. You can export your data, and we delete it within 30 days after your account closes.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Tenellus to break the law, to harass or discriminate against anyone, to upload malicious files, or to try to access other organisations’ data or disrupt the service. We may suspend an account that does.

7. Availability and support

We work to keep Tenellus available and secure, and back up data continuously. Planned maintenance is announced where possible. Support is by email, with priority for Business plans.

8. Liability

Tenellus is provided with reasonable skill and care. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights under consumer protection law.

9. Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time. We may end the agreement with 30 days’ notice, or immediately if you seriously breach these terms. Sections 5 and 8 continue after it ends.

10. Changes and law

We may update these terms and will tell account owners about material changes at least 30 days before they apply. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
